The project, called Fusiliers Advance!, has transformed the museum exhibition space, improved public access to the archive collections, and developed a programme of activities which will engage local people in a significant way for the first time. A museum design practice called Headland Design have created, together with Colin Bowes-Crick, the Museum Curator, a visitor experience which the Regiment can be proud of, and produce an attraction which will place the museum at the heart of the Tower of London.
The new galleries opened on 4 April 2011. Public entry to the Museum is FREE with entry to the Tower of London. Fusiliers and their families wishing to visit the museum can book through the Area Regimental Secretary’s office, contact: Major Mick McCarthy (Area Secretary), T. 0203 166 2912
