Local Bookshops

Waterstones

1-3 Whittington Ave, London EC3V 1PJ, UK – 020 7220 7882

Two floor book store with lots of books by different genre. Service was very polite and helpful.

Decent bookshop spanning 2 floors with friendly/helpful staff.

Blackwell's Bookshop

50-51, High Holborn, London WC1V 6EP, UK – 020 7292 5100

Very small bookshop. Never answer their phone so you can check stock before you make an unnecessary journey. Very limited stock and has no association with the publishing company of the same name. Go to Foyles instead.

Plenty of selection but the staff are not as attentive as they used to be. If you need legal literature, you're probably better off going to wildeys down the road from this place. Nonetheless I cannot give them any negative comments.

The Riverside Bookshop

15, Hay's Galleria, Tooley St, London SE1 2QN, UK – 020 7378 1824

Contains a treasure trove of new and classic books. Well worth a regular visit to unearth the new as well as rediscover the old. They also stock a fantastic selection of greetings cards, and they even have their own loyalty scheme, which I find amazing for a small independent bookshop.

Great little bookshop with a well stocked collection, cards, and very friendly staff.
