Bicycle Shops or Bicycle Accessories Outlets or Cycle Repairers

Machine Cycling Café / Bike Shop & Repairs

97 Tower Bridge Rd, London SE1 4TW, UK – 020 7407 4287

I chose this shop due to their top rankings and I must say I was very surprised about the friendly/component staff - in the cafe and workshop area. Yummy home-made ginger tea, nice atmosphere, brilliant service, very good price value!

Workshop always super accommodating offering a warm welcome; something that is unfortunately rare in many bike shops.

The London Bicycle Repair Shop

Benson House, 2-3 Hatfields, Lambeth, London SE1 8DQ, UK – 020 7928 6898

I took my seriously neglected bike to the guys at The LBRS, they were extremely friendly and informative when explaining what the multiple problems were. Then providing solutions to the given issues. After leaving my bike with them they quickly got back to me with a detailed estimate of the cost of all the repairs, giving me options for cheaper items if I needed to keep the costs down. They carried out all the necessary repairs speedily and got back to me when the bike was ready for collection. The bike looks great now, they did a very thorough job of cleaning and fixing all the complications. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs any work doing on their bike or just for a service. Excellent customer&bike service.

Good service, quick. Price was reasonable, but i felt overall quality of service was not top notch. I had to do re-work a few times to tighten up things on my bike and do readjustment even after the full (gold) check up. They also left out a few accessories on my bike which i had to chase to get it back. Overall it was okay but not sure whether i woild come back for any critical issues.

The London Bicycle Workshop Ltd

97-99 Clerkenwell Rd, London EC1R 5BX, UK – 020 7998 8738

By far the best service I have ever received in any of the London bike shops. The guys working here are knowledgeable and very passionate about their job. The quality of the customer care is top notch and the quality and speed of the service is impeccable. My bike was diagnosed, parts were chosen and the replacement and servicing was all done to the highest standards and speed. The staff was always very helpful and polite. Even when it came to simple questions about gear, or general biking, the responses given were very eloquent and professional. A bike shop how a 21st century bike shop should be. Would recommend 10+ out of 10.

Fantastic. I've taken my bike twice three time to Evans who left me with squeaky breaks and gears that jump. The LBW were able to see me the next day, their charge was very reasonable and personal to the work I needed done, they fitted new breaks, cleaned down the chain, and corrected the gears. My bike has never run so smoothly. And they offered a free tightening of my breaks in a couple of weeks once they've worn in. I would definitely recommend them.

Cycle Hire

London Bicycle Tour Company

1, Gabriels Wharf, 56 Upper Ground, Lambeth, London SE1 9PP, UK – 020 7928 6838

Nice way to meet London and some of its interesting facts. Our guide was Charlenne, she was really nice, warm, and funny

I took the Love London Tour (Nadjia was the guide) and the Old Town Tour (Felix was the guide) on consecutive days and they were both marvellous. I really recommend any of the tours the company does as it is a very different way to visit the city. Definitely, I will take another tour on my next visit

On Your Bike - London Bridge

The Vaults, Montague Cl, London SE1 9DA, UK – 020 7378 6669

By far the most helpful workshop staff in any London bike shop I have come across over the past 5 years. It's now the only workshop I go to. I have stopped in a number of times looking for parts, or for maintenance only for a mechanic to either remedy an issue there and then for free, or take time to show me how to fix the issue myself. When the work required is more involved I have always received speedy service, and very fair pricing. The workshop have even ordered parts in for me at cost. You couldn't ask for better. #1 LBS in London.

Excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable people. They stock a wide range of products and give good advice, they've even helped me out a couple times when bits have fallen off my bike, free of charge. Thanks!

City Bike Service

4, 100 The Highway, St Katharine's & Wapping, London E1W 2BX, UK – 020 7702 9999

Called yesterday afternoon. They asked me to bring in this morning. Was up on the ramp for a service within 10 mins of arrival and Service was finished within an hour. I have a Chinese Scooter, with most of the major Service Centers around London refusing to look at it, but these wonderful people dealt with it like Pros, and had me riding away with a smile on my face and a scooter that felt so much better in the road. I recommend Highly to anyone on 2 wheels. Will be bringing all my bikes to these guys in the future. Friendly, courteous and really great value for money!

After a morning phone call, they managed to fit me in for a service the very next day, and look at my rear brake as well. Everyone there was extremely friendly, efficient and it was reasonably priced. They sorted my bike out and had it back to me the same day; I could want better. Highly recommended.
