Cyclestreets.net is a brilliant little website for bicyclists. Just enter where you are and where you want to go and it will take you a proper cyclists route, tell you the distance, how quiet or otherwiseit will be and how many calories you will burn completing it.
This is extraordinary. You can actually choose a route to avoid unnecessary hills. Excellent for the part-time cyclist!

Bicycle Shops or Bicycle Accessories Outlets or Cycle Repairers

Evans Cycles Mark Lane

Corn Exchange, 55 Mark Ln, London EC3 R7NE, UK – 020 3040 0160

Chose this Evans store over others based on the reviews, and glad I did. Jakub and Rob were great! Even though I'd clicked and collected a 56 frame bike, they measured me, fitted a smaller bike and let me test try them. They've ended up ordering the smaller frame for me to collect. Advice was impartial and no attempt to upsell me.

The team in this Evans store represent everything that a top class retail outlet should offer. I took my time over the corse of two/three weeks testing different bikes. Andrew was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was the reason I made the decisoon to go ahead with an upgrade. It must have been frustrating dealing with me as I tried so many different bikes but he remained patient and helpful. The day I actually bought the bike I dealt with another member of staff who eas equally kind. I really can not recommend the team here enough.

Evans Cycles - London Bridge

Visited store and was attended to Bike engineer, Chris. He was very polite and helpful. He advised me as to the parts I needed to purchase and explained how to fix the problem. Chris is the person to consult when you have cycle problems. Please keep up the fine work ethic, and maintain your good customer service.

On Your Bike

The Vaults, Montague Cl, London SE1 9DA, UK – 020 7378 6669

Came in with a 3 day old but poorly prepared 1500 quid bike. Ben and Amy did a fantastic job in sorting it out and made it what it should have been when it left the manufacturer. Can't rate them highly enough. Professional, honest and trustworthy. Never used them before - will always use them from now on. Openlate until 7.30pm most evenings. Excellent. Use them.

Good bike rental service. Good response time by email for details. The bikes I rented came with a few items missing and they supplied these on the spot. Still, the bikes needed another check-up - we had small problems with the breaks, a dry chain and gears for one of the bikes. It would be helpful to have some space outside to test the bikes...

London Bicycle Tour Company

We just finished the Christmas Lights Guided Bike tour. Our tour guide, Ollie, was wonderful! Entertainingly informative & friendly! The route allowed us to see so many of the wonderful London neighborhoods and get into the residential parts of the city. Amazing! We did have several issues with the bike equipment, however. Our group had 5 flat tires during the 3.5 hour tour. We even ended up having to rent a Santander to get back because one of the bikes was not fixable. Ouch! Other than the bike issues, it was a 5-star experience. Thanks Ollie!

This was a great tour. Educational and lots of fun! I highly recommend it!
