is a brilliant little website for bicyclists. Just enter where you are and where you want to go and it will take you a proper cyclists route, tell you the distance, how quiet or otherwiseit will be and how many calories you will burn completing it.
This is extraordinary. You can actually choose a route to avoid unnecessary hills. Excellent for the part-time cyclist!

Evans Cycles - London Bridge

6 Tooley St, London SE1 2SY, UK – 020 7403 4610

Visited store and was attended to Bike engineer, Chris. He was very polite and helpful. He advised me as to the parts I needed to purchase and explained how to fix the problem. Chris is the person to consult when you have cycle problems. Please keep up the fine work ethic, and maintain your good customer service.

Gear cable had snapped on the morning commute. Though the workshop was booked up for the day, one of the engineers (Kieran) made itself available and replaced the cable on the spot. Also shared great advice about bike maintenance. Very knowledgeable & friendly service; will make sure to book a servicing soon

Evans Cycles - Spitalfields

Customer service of Evans is very good. The staff is helpful and professional. Sometimes customers are too demanding, I have to admit. My personal experience in that shop was very good. Everyone was ready to help and advise me on my order. At the beginning, I was doubting which bike to buy and I went to Evans shop near Leister square. A guy called Lui helped me with my decision and I soon ordered my Crosstrail bike from this shop in market street.

Dave the manager and Brian the head mechanic were wonderful at sorting out the problem I had with my Trek Lexa on Monday, despite me buying the bike from an independent store that went out of business. They explained what they could and could not do, and told me to leave the bike with them and return in half an hour. I did just that-and the bike is spot-on. Just like the service!

Hackney Cycles

507 Hackney Rd, London E2 9ED, UK – 020 7739 6663

I went there just for my flat tire and they said that it was free which is pretty amazing. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

It was such a pleasure to buy a bike at this shop. They are very nice and help you decide about which is the best bike for you. Perfect quality for the price. I bought a teman + helmet + lights for 200. I would highly recomend it!

Cycle Hire

London Bicycle Tour Company

Best bikes in London. This shop has some of the news cycles and clothing in the market. Highly recommend stopping by.

Really helpful, fixed my bike without any issue!

On Your Bike

The Vaults, Montague Cl, London SE1 9DA, UK – 020 7378 6669

Came in with a 3 day old but poorly prepared 1500 quid bike. Ben and Amy did a fantastic job in sorting it out and made it what it should have been when it left the manufacturer. Can't rate them highly enough. Professional, honest and trustworthy. Never used them before - will always use them from now on. Openlate until 7.30pm most evenings. Excellent. Use them.

Good bike rental service. Good response time by email for details. The bikes I rented came with a few items missing and they supplied these on the spot. Still, the bikes needed another check-up - we had small problems with the breaks, a dry chain and gears for one of the bikes. It would be helpful to have some space outside to test the bikes...

Action Bikes

Not impressed with the Brompton bike stock. Not so keen to go there again.

Having worked in the Charing Cross area for years, I've been going to this shop for years. Always been happy with their service, the staff have always been friendly & knowledgeable. (They're dropping a star 'cos after the last service I had done 2 days ago, there's still a problem that needs to be resolved, but I'm confident they'll handle it appropriately.)
