My girlfriend works for Virgin Active in Australia & I have a buddy membership. We had no trouble getting in & the lady at the front desk (I think her name was Laura or similar) was super helpful. We trained here again a few days later & she ensured that everything was in place so we could just come straight in with no issues. Facility itself is very good; weights area is small but well equipped. Lots of functional bits like vipers, TRXs & bands.
The VA chain of gyms are the best I've ever been to. Worth the price if you can afford it

In a nut shell, solid range of equipment that thanks to the massive membership fee is usually free. 4 star because given 2 years of moaning they still have not put a stair climber into the altitude room. Or for that matter marketed programmes for expositions. It's missing a trick. Also place is a bit mucky with dust.
Amazing gym. Part of the Virgin elite level of clubs. Fabulous fabulous including altitude room and full sauna steam room etc. Friendly staff and large aerobic and weights areas. All kit is modern and state of the art. They will even clean your shoes and iron your shirts whilst you work out. Great gym!

Friendly and helpful trainers. Excellent range of new equipment for a full body or targeted workout. Light and airy environment and excellent changing facilities. At Better, the Sauna and Steam Room make a great place to unwind. But they can help with more than just relieving stress and relaxing the body and mind. Increasing blood flow, helping with weight loss and skin cleansing are all proven benefits
A great place for work out. The facilities are new and are taken care of by the staff regularly. The changing room is relatively spacious and there are showers available to everyone. There are training classes led by trainers throughout the week, including cardio, body building, fitness training, etc. The membership fee is £29 a month, and there is a discount for half and full year subscription. The gym is very busy during dinner time, so do expect a short waiting for the treadmills.
