Local Food and Drink

Drink, Shop & Do

9 Caledonian Rd, London N1 9DX, UK – 020 7278 4335

Has so much fun here! Booked in for a hen and did bottomless brunch with hen games as our DO. It was fantastic. Service was excellent. Food was delicious and the games were hilarious! Will definitely be looking to come back again.

The place is small, intimate and quirky. The location is excellent too. We were here for a team party and the service was excellent. The band played well and the hostess got everyone wanting to karaoke. The food was tasty. Loved it!

Russian Food Shop

126A Cornwall Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8TQ, UK – 020 7928 2810

Great range of products in the Russian shop (that has products from all Eastern Europe), affordable prices, friendly service.

Very nice Russian lady cut my hair today. I only asked for the sides and back done grade 1. She was quick and friendly and it only cost 10 pounds. Her English wasn't the best, so I used google translate to explain what I wanted done. Overall she did a great job and I will definitely be coming back. Also the food shop and salon are separate areas lol.

Tapas Brindisa London Bridge

Borough Market, 18-20 Southwark St, London SE1 1TJ, UK – 020 7357 8880

Nice small Spanish restaurant. It was super full, so if you go during peak hour you might find it difficult to get a table. Friendly Spanish staff and really good food. However, the waiters should pay more attention to what you order. They brought us mistakenly a dish of patatas bravas that we didn't order. Later, we were missing another dish and the waiter came to ask what we were missing. Two seconds after she brought the plate, was the wrong one!! They should definitely keep a better track of each table's order. Besides that, the food was good and there was a nice (but crowded) atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and beautiful cooked tapas! Good and fast service. Friendly staff and great food! Impressive open kicken with more than 9 people cooking simultaneously! !! You can have also great coffee and there is a great selection of wines. I great place for lunch or dinner! !!

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for London showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
