The reason for this 5* review is because of one member of staff, a girl on the door called Gabby. Went to Cargo to watch England-Sweden, free entry, great atmosphere (the drinks are extortionate but I was willing to pay) but no veggie burgers even though they were on the menu, and no vegetarian alternative offered. I explained this to the door staff and they were rude and said if I left, I’d have to queue up and pay...explained it to Gabby and she let me pop out for 5 minutes and grab some chips... Small acts of kindness in times when you don’t really have a choice are priceless, and really that’s the only reason I was able to stay with my friends and have a great time, thanks again!

Lot of negative reviews here but we had a good time. We just happened to be walking by on a Tuesday and heard the party inside. It’s small but there was a fun crowd dancing inside to a great dj. We didn’t meet the minimum but the staff was kind enough to let us use our cards anyways because we didn’t have cash. The bartenders were really friendly.

BEST PARTIES EVER The home of techno and house in the UK!!! Always had an amazing time there! Great air-conditioning, amazing sound system, wonderful stuff that makes you feel as safest as possible! Clean bathrooms, awesome DJ's, nice and diverse crowd and fabulous vibes!!! Room 1 sound system is like no other. Excellent drum and bass artists often pop up on Friday nights! Thumbs up guys! c(:

The place is good and a bit like a maze which is making it more interesting, The music was little bit too strong so I even thought is it allowed to be so high volume or maybe because of the structure of the place I don’t know. Is not like the other clubs. Also the quality of the sound is not perfect. The prices are very high and also be aware of people who are stealing your drink! We had 3 full beers and they just disappeared. Anyway I had very nice time and danced like a crazy so I will visit it again for sure.

Had a really fun night here, not fancy by all means but a cool little place! Drinks choices are a bit limited. Good mix of music, pretty friendly staff and a great manager behind the bar who seems to look out for women to make sure theyre drinking safely and not being taken advantage of. He also kindly replaced my drink when it was knocked over. Would definitely go here again!

I had such a brilliant night out here. There is a bar while you wait to play which serves well priced drinks. The course is such fun !! There are even slides to go down! It's like an adults playground. The people working here were all lovely and friendly. Just a fantastic time had by me and all my friends. Thanks !

Came here a few weeks back on a second date. We played the jungle themed course, took two of us about half an hour, should probably have booked a second and left space for a drink break in the night but wasn't sure how long it would take. A bit dingy and run down inside but I think that is the vibe they go for. It adds to the atmosphere and we both had good fun. The drinks were reasonably priced but didn't try the food. One problem was it was very hot being underground. Made us both a bit uncomfortable and sticky, wouldn't be able to do a full night in there. I would go back again to try the other courses, I think it's pretty good value for money if you are looking for something to do before food or drinks to help pad the night out and make it a bit more of an event.

Great fun. Virtual golf with real clubs and balls. Reasonably good bar snacks

If this isn't the perfect place for guys to hang out, I don't know what is! The clubs they provide are top notch & the beer is tasty!

DB Golf Academy London

Hi just had a lesson at DB golf very impressive lots of clear data but kept simple enough for me to understand i have been having lessons at a driving range for a year with no real improvement this is so much better Geoff Bull

Great facility in an excellent location and, most importantly, top quality coaches. Best place in London by far for golf coaching and practice.

First time visiting today for the Champions League final, and must admit one of the best atmospheres for a bar I have seen for a while! Diverse selection of Liverpool and Real fans, absolutely packed! But decent place to watch the footie. Drinks selection isnt the greatest, but can still pick up a decent pint. Worth checking out when a decent game is on. I also recommend booking in advance.

A sports bar right next to one of Britain's busiest railway stations. A recipe for an insanely packed and miserable experience. Not quite. While not the prettiest bar in London it had a great vibe with 3 separate pool tables, one table tennis table and a punch bag machine (warning, this is insanely addictive and I lost a lot of money on this thing). Be aware that you'll almost definitely need to reserve in advance for tables. On top of this, more TV screens than you'd ever need showing the main sporting events. They also have a great deal going on for cocktails - two for one from 2 - 8pm. A few things let it down for me. The size of the main bar is a bit small and they need more serving staff (due to the length of time it takes to make cocktails). The fact that you need to book in advance for tables is annoying. Thirdly, the staff are quite lax about kicking people off of tables once their allocated slot is up. Furthermore, there are no real ales on tap. Overall I had a good time here and would not shy on going back.

London Fencing Club

Finsbury Leisure Centre, Norman St, London EC1V 3PU, UK

The club's beginner's course is a must - even if you don't plan to continue fencing - great atmosphere, it provides a nice workout and a very useful and intriguing insight into fencing. I joined a club a few months ago after said course and the club is great! The coaches are absolutely brilliant and everyone can find a suitable trainer, suited to one's needs and timeframe. There are trainings almost every day so it is easy to fit it around one's schedule. And Tim and his team are very supportive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to both beginners and competent fencers.

You won't be disappointed with this club. Spectacular coaches that will help you all your way, even in competitions. I started with the intensive workshop, and already signed up for three times a week. You have tough warm ups to put you into tone, and you have intensive sessions like the ones on saturdays running for 3 hours. You can choose location, as there are two gyms, and have a shower if you feel like it. Don't have your own equipment? No problemo, they'll lend it to you! Eventually I got mine, it's an investment, yes, but, isn't fencing worth it? And not only the fencing is great over there, but as well, the fencers themselves are all great lads, none of that brute drunken hooligan rabble you find in other sports. These are hand picked humans, finest around. After fencing we all go to the pub and chat until they throw us out. What can I say, IT CHANGED MY LIFE! But of course, that's exactly what I was looking for... PS: I no longer live in London, but I travel 1hr30min every saturday to London from Buckingham (near Milton Keynes), taking a bus and then a train and then the tube (and back). And I do that for three reasons, the club, the fencers and fencing. Were these three bad or disappointing, I would certainly had not bothered. So, what are you waiting? Join the club, I want to make new friends. PS 2: I'm back in London, fencing regularly 3 times a week. Just got back a month ago from a club organized fencing trip to Spartak Fencing Academy in St. Petersburg. You don't get these things anywhere else. Amazing place. Join now, or repent!
