Great vibe in the club. Great mix of music. Having aircon made it very comfortable all night.. would recommend the burger bar outside as the food is awesome. Took a very long time to get in via guest list but had an amazing night once inside

129 City Rd, Hoxton, London EC1V 1JB, UK – 020 7253 4101

Absolutely loved our evening here! The jazz /blues band were fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to ensure you have a good time. They are experienced and explained their cocktails and even suggested ones that we might enjoy based on our descriptions of likes and dislikes. I had booked a table beforehand for a birthday celebration and we had amazing seats right near the stage. The live music was at a perfect volume, not too loud so we could still chat amongst ourselves. Although slightly on the pricey side, the care and attention to detail is impeccable and definitely makes it worthwhile. We spent over 6 hours here and already can't wait the visit again! Would definitely recommend a visit to this fantastic bar!

Wow...... 1a table service explained all the cocktails in detail... Although some of the cocktails were not to our taste, they were very very tasty and individual.... definitely worth a visit to experience this bar.... if your lucky enough to get in.... enjoy your time there!......

Bethnal Green Working Men's Club

42-44 Pollard Row, London E2 6NB, UK – 020 7739 7170

Great place to have fun and enjoy a dancing night. You can let the vibe move your body because no one will ever judge you in there. My advise is to go with some friends and check the website before going so you can choose the night that suit on you. I will go back to the Boro very soon.

Lovely old place. Great vibe

Junkyard Golf Club

Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Ln, London E1 6QL, UK

My partner and I are staying just around the corner from here for a short visit. we decided to see what their was to do last minute in the evening when we arrived. We thought this place looked good and would be something fun to do. The staff where all fab, friendly, and very helpful. We ended up playing 2 of the courses (circus and jungle) and had a lovely time. Thank you to the guys and girls at junkyard golf. We hope to come back here again. Highly recommend :)

Great day/ night with friends/ date. Been here several times and it never disappoints. There are various golf courses to try, all creative, adventurous and fun. Never tried the food but the drinks are amazing! From alcoholic (and non alocoholic) ice slush drinks to cocktails... definitely worth a visit. Online bookings are recommended on busy days (Thursday through to weekends/ holiday periods) but I have always managed to pay on the day/ at the time for available slots. Be sure to check the slot times online. Great fun.

Pitch Golf London

Hasilwood House, 60-64 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AW, UK – 020 7628 9424

I've been visiting the great Pitch setup since it opened. The setup is second to none, fully kitted out with GC2 launch monitors, Catalyst swing plates, front and rear video and a SAM puttlab. Since starting my lessons I have dropped from a 22 to 7 handicap and have my eyes opened to what makes an effective golf swing and how best to manage that swing. For a friendly but informative place to learn golf in London, look no further.

Top class set-up. All their kit is brand new, with Hi Def cameras/screens really a step above other video coaching studios I've seen. Best place in London for the serious golfer to work on their game. Adam is a great instructor. Uses the tech to augment teaching without being overly technical and reliant on it.

City Golf & Health Clubs

40 Coleman St, London EC2R 5EH, UK – 020 7796 5960

A very good place to go for Personal Training in terms of location and cost without having to be a member. hardly ever queue for equipment as the main users are either PT clients or private members. They have about five or six trainers, I personally trained with Dave Selkirk who is very knowledgeable and has introduced a lot of new variety into my workouts. for the hourly rate you get on 10 sessions, you would probably have to sign up for 12 weeks of 3 weekly sessions to get the same rate from some of the "PT-only" outfits in town so has been great value.

I love this little gym and I highly recommend Ray Conway, he's an amazing personal trainer. His workouts are the best and super effective. I've been training with him for the last 5 months and i can definitely say that i am very happy with the results. Thank you Ray.🙏

Local Sports Clubs

Number 1 London

1 Duke St Hill, London SE1 2SW, UK – 020 3291 3251

A sports bar right next to one of Britain's busiest railway stations. A recipe for an insanely packed and miserable experience. Not quite. While not the prettiest bar in London it had a great vibe with 3 separate pool tables, one table tennis table and a punch bag machine (warning, this is insanely addictive and I lost a lot of money on this thing). Be aware that you'll almost definitely need to reserve in advance for tables. On top of this, more TV screens than you'd ever need showing the main sporting events. They also have a great deal going on for cocktails - two for one from 2 - 8pm. A few things let it down for me. The size of the main bar is a bit small and they need more serving staff (due to the length of time it takes to make cocktails). The fact that you need to book in advance for tables is annoying. Thirdly, the staff are quite lax about kicking people off of tables once their allocated slot is up. Furthermore, there are no real ales on tap. Overall I had a good time here and would not shy on going back.

Pretty much a complete dive. I went for a mid afternoon football match and it was ok in that it was showing it and served beer, but the whole place smells and is stick. Seems to cater for those who know nowhere else to go

Rainbow Sports Bar

72 Shoreditch High St, Shoreditch, London E1 6JJ, UK – 020 7739 2959

As soon as I entered, there were some top melons pressed against me. Decent start, but it got better from there. Straight into the VIP for a very reasonable dollar, great banter all over the place. VIP was unreal. Wife wasn't too happy but there was a direct taxi from outside to a door in king's cross with a star on it. Expensive night, but well worth the two grand. Been morning glory for the last week. Recommend it to everyone.

Well, it's one of the few places of its kind in the area. Ok for a quick appetizer, but the main course is questionable. The alley outside isn't a place you want to hang around at midnight...leaks are taken.

Danco Shoes, 134-135 Shoreditch High St, London E1 6JE, UK – 020 7739 3440

This is a cool little place where its name really does resemble what the place is like. It's a box room with screens literally everywhere. So no matter if there is a giant in front of you you definitely won't miss out on seeing any of the match. Not expensive, good starting place before you go out out.

Could do with bar upstairs having better seating to watch screens but other than that decent all round
