Trusted friend told me he was asked to leave once he bought a drink and got his own pack of crisps out. Will soon see for myself if this is actually the case. It sounds odd that any single staff member in a busy pub would find the time or energy to stalk their customers this way over something like it... though it's occasionally happened to myself in other places. Will update my review when I've checked it out.
Awesome Pub with super friendly bar service! We were doing a mini pub crawl and trying to hit a half dozen spots that night, and Ten Bells was definitely one of the best! The Bar staff recommended the razorback and now I'll do the same as it was a deliciously smooth beer worth trying. This place is highly recommended.

Excellent selection of pub food staples. I chose the steak sandwich which was perfect for lunch. An open sandwich so no too big, and served with onion marmalade and blue cheese. We shared chips which appeared hand cut and were deliciously crispy. I would definitely return!
I like this pub. I preferred it when it was The Master Gunner but that was a few years ago. It felt like more of a proper pub then, it's still got a pub feel rather than city bar, but they've gone for the Shoreditch look in terms of decor which doesn't do it for me. Anyway, nice enough place for a bit of lunch and we've had a few work dos in the downstairs bit.

Visited on a sunny Saturday so it was very busy, the pub itself is in an absolutely stunning location. Had a pint of beavertown neck oil however it’s wasn’t all that cold, it wasn’t warm but could have been a lot cooler. Didn’t have food so can’t comment on it.
Reasonably priced for a London pub. Book well in advance if you want a table (shows how popular they are!) But they also allow you to take drinks outside so you can sit by the canal.

Average food. Reasonably priced set menu but starters came out cold as did bread. Bread came with no dips had to ask twice. Waiting staff average, seem to have lost their voices no pleases or thank you despite me being pleasant to them. Nobody asked how my food was and nobody seemed to really care. Sums it up well.
Two kids and 3 adults seated within a few minutes @ 8:15pm on a Monday. Food came out quickly. Someone had a bday celebration; very short, courteous to others, yet enjoyable. Food was wonderful. Cheese was fresh. Hummus had nice texture and taste. Overall, great experience from such a small street cafe. Would have had more fotos-ate first before realizing this place should be promoted

Nice food, pleasant environment and very good location. Menu has lots of options of starters and mains. I recommend it.
Nice ambience and attentive staff. Guitarist was very entertaining. I was a bit disappointed in my food. Lamb stew was a served with much of the rendered fat as the gravy. A bit pricey for what it ultimately was.
Savoy Hotel, London WC2R 0EU, UK – 020 7592 1600
Came here for my birthday and our table all had the Taste of Savoy Grill menu. It exceeded my expectations and I left the restaurant on a blissful gastronomic high! The Beef Wellington and the scallops were the stars of the show. Service was excellent as expected from a world-class hotel and a Gordon Ramsay restaurant - attentive, warm yet not intrusive! Thank you for an amazing experience!
This restaurant is as legendary as the hotel and theatre it resides by. The food, drinks and service are all impeccable. Classy but not snobby in any way. Thanks for a nice evening.

The service and ambient are really good. The team is kind and helpful. Food is OK, nothing spectacular.
Just came back from a Valentines meal at this place. Great choice of menu for this lovey dovey day! However not came with a £35 per head price tag but it was decent compared to others. Food was nice, the prosecco was amazing! However absolutely died when l tasted their chocolate moose! A must have if you ever go there!

This place services some proper Chinese dishes at a rather reasonable price. But I understand some western people may find the food too Chinese or the service not friendly enough.
We loved authentic Chinese food without British adaptation. Nice personal. We are planning to go there again.

Definitely one of the best Chinese takeaways in London for regular local Chinese food. All the dishes I've had were consistently good. Also convenient locatiol, right next to Rotherhithe station.
Went here for Mother’s Day 11/3/18 Our first time under new management and the return of the Buffet 🤣👍 Some small substitutes from usual selections, no S&P Squid or Shredded Chilli Chicken but rice and chow mien dishes are more flavourful. Desserts: fruit selection or chocolate Swiss roll...no ice cream machine which was disappointing. Very please to have the buffet back, staff were excellent and even gave us a mother’s day rose at the end, thank you very much.

Found this place by accident but loved it. Located under ground. Great food, wonderful atmosphere. We were given a cozy table and had a wonderful evening. Good prices for London. Well go back next time we are in the city. Recommended.
A very tasty Indian, well cooked, presented and served. Even thou it’s in the basement, the decoration and ambience is well maintained energetically. It feels clean, cozy and light.

While I’m not a big foodie, but I’m a regular visitor here and after today’s excellent meal, I feel the urge to review this amazing place. I have eaten here many times before with friends and family and Aladin never disappoints. Butter chicken is simply amazing with near perfect curry. Everything is done right from the expert spicing of the dishes to the freshness of the nan and generous portions. Nevertheless, the service and timing are all very good and I’m looking forward to my next experience in this curry house.
Aladin on Brick Lane in London is a great find. We had 7:00 reservations and it was already packed. We were never rushed and encouraged to take our time. They offered advice on their menu and encouraged us towards certain dishes. It did not disappoint! We left stuffed and happy:) and it was light on the wallet! Don't forget to bring your own drinks

Excellent service and delicious food. We ordered lasagna and cannelloni and they were very tasty. Very good selection of mood music and romantic atmosphere, although a bit smoke-filled.
Delicious, authentic food; amazing service; cosy and beautiful decor and atmosphere. This restaurant is a jewel!! I’ll be going back again!

Yummy unique flavors and excellent gluten free options! Also excellent location right by Waterloo Station and pleasant interior plus nice outdoor eating. Not many good gluten free options in London! This is excellent.
We eat regularly at Azzurro. The staff are polite, friendly and do not rush us but allow us to chat between courses. The food is interesting and as a vegetarian there is variety of choice for me. I feel comfortable taking family to Azzurro from my 90 year old sister to me 9 month old great grandson.

I had a great experience here last week with friends. Top class service, good food and good wine. Couldn't have done enough for us...
Fun Italian eatery - real Italian, with fresh made pasta. Servers were great and full of smiles.

The food is super tasty and I appreciated so much that basically the whole menu was vegan. The restaurant itself is located in an old renewed bus and this makes everything look super original and fun. Prices are good and the staff were very nice. If I end up in Bethnal Green again, I will definitely eat there again.
Amazing little place, not marketed enough. You must try their food - finger licking delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. I loved the place and will definitely be going back again.

Really really good vegetarian Indian place. Beautifully decorated, with a huge menu, and an ideal location. Gets very busy when there's something on at Theatre Royal across the street but you can make a reservation in advance. Try the Thali (platter of lots of small dishes) if you're overwhelmed by the menu- it's all delicious and you can't go wrong.
My husband and I visited Sagar at the recommendation of a London local about a year ago and were pleased with the experience as we were just discovering how much we love Indian food. However, we visited again today and were treated pretty rudely by staff for not ordering what they felt like was enough food (we split a few dishes between the two of us and had also eaten just about two hours prior so we didn't want a lot). Even though the food was good, I'm not sure we'll return - there's lots of options for Indian food in London and we'd much rather have it paired with respectful service.
135 Whitecross St, London EC1Y 8JL, UK – 020 7250 3452
It's ok but no music was on when we were there. It was a bit awkward. Food was good. Especially potato cakes on aubergine casserole. Service was good as well. Very polite and quick. Just be prepared that it can be a bit quite in there. I also had a starter. It's my fault but the artichoke were sweet but expecting something savoury. The dessert which was vegan chocolate cake was lovely though. We went just after 18 so I think they just opened so it was very quite. But at least food was quick.
Tasty food, great portion size (some restaurants seem to assume that if you're vegetarian/vegan you must not be hungry) and attentive, charming staff.

Gets really busy but live bar
Went here a few Fridays ago, as work in the city and wanted somewhere new to go. It's a really nice place, decor is so different to the boring bars in the area. We danced into the early hours and had a really good night. Recommend this place for s good night out.
70 Upper St, London N1 0NY, UK – 020 7359 1710
I had my birthday here and privately rented the club. Was the best priced place around and open til 4am! They arranged everything for me and made it an amazing night! Great cocktails, great music, great vibes and great staff! I have been here since and would recommend it!
Love this place! Booked a table through Kyle there and he looked after us all night! Will definitely go again!!! 😜😁🤩🍸🍹

This place is pretty solid but can be a bit hard to find. You walk in to the building, go downstairs, turn around and you see the bar. It's not very confusing, just not well signed. The inside is really chill with nice seating but also not that much of it. The staff is friendly albeit not always on the ball. They also do afternoon tea which is pretty good if you're into that sort of thing.
Went here for afternoon tea with my wife. The service was amazing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Scones and cakes were prepared to perfection. We will definitely come back again!
