Dentistry 100

64-65 Long Ln, London EC1A 9EJ, UK – 020 7638 7100

This place is a real gem. Dr Parkman is the friendliest dentist I think I've ever had, and the kids all get on really well with him too. The surgery is clean, funky, and they play great tunes. Have recommended him it to several of my friends and they all love him too!!!

Doctors serving the London area

London Doctors Clinic

Room 101, 117 Waterloo Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8UL, UK – 020 8712 9378

Amazing, concerned doctor who took the time to listen and explain. I'm so happy to have found this practice .

Efficient service and very friendly, helpful doctor. It was a great relief to get effective treatment so quickly

Dr G Marlowe - De Beauvoir Surgery

30 Hertford Rd, London N1 5QT, UK – 020 7923 3684

I decided to write a review as my circumstances have changed and I found that the staff here was very understandable. I've been with this surgery since the old location. Someone recommended to me based on their experience and I must say that I don't regret it at all. The staff is incredible good, from the receptionists who are atentive and very polite to the professionalism and great empathy the doctors have shown. I also mention the nurse whom I saw her a few times and she left me a very good impression each time( I am scared of needles but she was very gentle and lovely). I wish all surgeries will be great as this one. Well done to the team!

I have been a patient of this surgery for many years, since the old location. Many of the doctors have been with this surgery many years too, and have great knowledge, ability and customer service. The new doctors are also very impressive. Can be difficult to get an appointment within a short number or days, but have nearly always been seen on the day when it has been an emergency. In the climate we are in I regard this still very good.

The Neaman Practice

15 Half Moon Ct, London EC1A 7HF, UK – 020 7600 9740

Appointments on day, excellent doctors and care, despite being an incredibly busy practice they have time for their patients and act quickly and professionally when required, have never missed anything in the 20 odd years my family have used the clinic and the one that existed before it.

Was very straight forward to sign up as a new patient (don't go in the mornings as they're a bit busy booking the days appointments). Have got on the day appointments by calling in at 8.30am and if your sign up for patient access, can book appointments in advance and manage your prescriptions online which is very handy. Receptionists are very friendly and doctors are lovely. Would recommend this practice.

NHS and Private Hospitals in EC3N and throughout London

London Bridge Hospital

27 Tooley St, London SE1 2PR, UK – 020 7407 3100

I had a course of physiotherapy at London Bridge Hospital for my neck. The therapist was very knowledgeable and professional and helped my symptoms. One of the biggest positives was that she helped me to see where I was going wrong and I felt empowered to return to my goals. The department is also based in the Shard with a brand new, well equipped gym as an added bonus! I would highly recommend going here for treatment.

The best hospital that I've ever attended. Great service. Excellent doctors.

St Leonard's Hospital

Nuttall St, London N1 5LZ, UK – 020 7683 4527

Had physio here twice (knee and back) for problems I've had for years. The physios (Kristina and Andy) were brilliant, really nice and informative. I'm now pain-free and can't thank them enough for their expert help.

Very nice and helpful staff at RA office! Many thanks Idris for your help, it's a pleasure to deal with you.

St. Thomas' Hospital

Westminster Bridge Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 7EH, UK – 020 7188 7188

Staff on the whole great. Hygiene on refurbished Stephen ward disgusting to say the least. Toilets blocked. 4 bays under infection quarantine, no heating. No hygiene products in bathrooms. 3 of 4 lifts out of order What was the point of relocating patients into an unfinished ward? On top of all that still waiting after 3 weeks for an urgent procedure which at the time of review has been cancelled twice Apart from that a huge improvement on my previous hospital. I cannot praise the majority of the nursing staff highly enough though. 4 stars not 3 as previously posted. My bad.!!

This, although sounds odd, was my best experience on an Emergency Department. When I arrived, I was visibly distressed. The lady who was on reception was lovely and immediately got the Sister on duty who ushered me to a room so I could have some privacy. The Psych Liaison was brilliant and got me a bed on a ward really quickly. My experience on Evan Jones ward was just as positive.

Chemists and Pharmacists

Boutalls Chemists

60 Lamb's Conduit St, London WC1N 3LW, UK – 020 7405 1039

204 Cambridge Heath Rd, London E2 9NQ, UK – 020 8981 0600

Helpful and lovely staff, a personal touch. It does get super busy though - a credit to their great service - so leave time for the occasional wait. There's a reasonable range of items to look at while you wait and they also seem to have an emergency assessment room although I've never used it or seen anyone need it. The happiest pharmacy I've been in for many many years and very good at their jobs.

The gentleman here was exceptionally kind and helpful!

Kalmak Chemists Ltd

Barchester Healthcare Ltd

3rd Floor, The Aspect, 12 Finsbury Square, London EC2A 1AS, UK – 020 7382 2860

As a regular visitor to Thackeray House I have noticed the rise in stress levels with the Carers. Often only 1 carer is left on the floor to serve meals and answer calls - something has got to give. We want more Carers throughout the day. We understand the reduction of staff is due to a Head Office directive - it is unsafe for our relatives in this sort of environment. It won't be just the staff leaving but your fee paying residents.. it's awful to witness the lack of consideration given to the staff. Visitors should be interviewed to tell you the reality of your directives. Please deal with the staffing issues THEY cannot cope with work levels especially between 11am and 3pm.

Dr (TCM) Angelo D'Alberto

Acupuncture London, Token House, 11/12 Tokenhouse Yard, London EC2R 7AS, UK – 020 7954 9298

I found Angelo to be very knowledgeable and very professional. I had accupuncture for fertility and it worked perfectly! I fell pregnant 2 months after starting my sessions. Angelo was also able to give me lots of advice and help, more so than my own doctor! My husband has also since visited Angelo to help with a skin condition. Both of us have been really happy with the service and subsequent outcome. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend Angelo's services. He has a very calm manner and his knowledge regarding the role of acupuncture and TCM in aiding fertility issues is fantastic. I struggled to stay pregnant and I'm convinced acupuncture played a large role in helping me to stay pregnant with my now 15 month old. It was also very good with the early pregnancy symptoms, I often left Angelo's practice feeling like a different person!

Bliss Acupuncture & Massage

136 Grays Inn Rd, London WC1X 8AS, UK – 020 7833 0219

That was an amazing experience. I 've had back pain long time and only after 2 sessions of massage I already feel better . I can't believe this pain goes away. I totally recommend it to everyone that wanna feel better after a day of work or just relax.

Meridian Acupuncture & Herbs

1A Chapel Market, London N1 9PZ, UK – 020 7713 8228

THANK YOU so much Dr Wong and the team! You have correctly advised me on my health issue and potentially saved me from lots of serious complications later on. Your knowledge and professionalism is outstanding and I'm highly recommending you to all my friends and family. THANK YOU again!

It was amazing when I did the acupuncture and deep tissue, and then the pain has gone. I have the pain on the left feet for more than ten years, and the problem caused my right leg pain these late two years. After Dr Wang explained me why the problem came from and what treatment could help out. It really works on me. I saw GP before, they just gave me the pain relief. You know that was a treatment. By the way, Julian is fantastic, he did the Thai massage for me, it was the first time I had deep tissue massage. He is a very patient guy, and tried to explain how the treatment worked on me. I fully recommend Dr Wang and Julian.

First visit today. Andy was incredibly informative and efficient, not only did he fix my back issue in less than 5 minutes, he went further to help alleviate years worth of built up pressure. Easy to find location, great price, highly recommended.

I wish to highly recommend Clare at Motionback. I was experiencing issues with my neck which had seized up and was getting much worse. Clare saw me at short notice and was able to solve the problem straight away – it was almost a miracle! I will certainly return if I experience any further issues and very much appreciate the warm, caring and informative service received. Thank you!

Broadgate Spine Centre - Chiropractor, Osteopath & Physiotherapist

65 London Wall, London EC2M 5TU, UK – 020 7638 4330

I have had back problems for a while and seen a number of different therapists. They all said roughly the same thing and none of them achieved lasting results. My experience with Gary Weir (Osteopath) was totally different. He approached my problem in new ways and has helped massively!

Gary Weir (Osteopath) is brilliant. He has been excellent helping me recover from my shoulder pain.

1 Wallside wood St, Barbican, London EC2Y 5AG, UK – 020 7374 2272

I had severe pain in both knees and a friend recommended I come here. I saw Emma who is amazing. She was extremely welcoming and friendly, resolved my issue within just a couple of sessions and also advised what I could do myself to help prevent the issue from returning. I can't recommend enough.

I experienced some accute neck/shoulder/upper back spasm and got an immediate appointment at Bodymotion. Caroline did a thorough assessment and gave me excellent treatment which enabled me to walk away in substantially less pain. Follow up treatment solved by issue entirely. Highly recommend this clinic.

Judith Havas Homeopathy

Marchmont St, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 1AP, UK – 020 7278 3065

I first visited Judith nearly 5 years ago with my 18 months old son, who had a persistent cough. The cough was gone after receiving homeopathic treatment from Judith. Over the years she treated my two sons for a great variety of childhood ailments from tonsillitis to ear infections. I also received treatment from her during my second pregnancy. Judith is very caring and professional. I found her treatments very helpful, she also gives very good health advice.

Judith Havas has been my homeopath for over 16 years, and I could not recommend her more highly. She has helped with many physical and psychological problems. With her immense sensitivity she is able to ascertain precisely which remedy to begin a cure and then will select follow up remedies to complete it. She is sympathetic, thorough and patient. Having established my constitutional remedy, often this is all I need to set things to rights. I could say ‘Anxiety’ is my middle name and I can drive friends crazy with my constant worrying, but Judith, with her gentle understanding, has many times found the remedy which helps restore my equilibrium. She also helped me through my breast cancer treatment, alleviating the inevitable side effects and monitoring my progress, and was always there with reassurance and advice. Recently she has alleviated an ongoing personal health problem. I would happily recommend her to anyone. Idina Le Geyt. London.

Mindtastic Training

86 Paul St, London EC2A 4NE, UK – 07790 677878

I have now attended four of Dr Dawn Hamilton's workshops and I have been very impressed and impacted by each one. Dawn presents her extensive knowledge in a highly accessible way catering for the broad range of attendees, some who are entirely new to the subject(s) and others who are already familiar. She is wholly present and very attuned to both the individuals and the various groups I have been a part of. I really like that Dawn will adapt her material according to how the session is shaping up - that flexibility and deep engagement made me feel I was part of something uniquely tailored to the moment. I am greatly looking forward to further personal and professional development with Dawn!

Tesco Opticians

Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, Redriff Rd, London, Rotherhithe SE16 7LL, UK – 0345 601 3479

I had my first sight test at Tesco Surrey Quays and I can say what a wonderful team work there. All the staff are very friendly and professional. The examination was very through and I felt I had a excellent service. I choose 2 pairs of glasses using their offer of buy one get one free so great value. The staff have great product knowledge and answered all my questions. I left feeling confident my glasses are going to be great . :)

Pawel and the rest of the staff were all amazing and very helpful!! My glasses that were 2 years old broke, I was in need of a new one. My appointment for an eye test was booked very quickly, they could see how desperate I was. Ever since I was little, frame shopping was the hardest part of my life as I have a really small head. With their help, I was able to pick a proper adult Vera Wang one. When I bought my previous one and my sunglasses 2 years ago, I was satisfied too but this time was even better! My glasses were ready in 2 working days. Happiest customer ever!! Keep up the good work!

Specstacular Opticians and Eyewear Company

40 Cheshire St, London E2 6EH, UK – 020 3645 1237

No doubt, this is the best glasses shop I have ever seen in my life!!!! I have recently bought a pair of cat eye glasses and I have to say it was hard to choose, because wherever you turn you see beautiful items and the shop in general it's so unique. Whatever taste you have, you can easily find something that you love and in many cases you would not see it anywhere else, especially for all the vintage frames. The owners are the best part though: super helpful, nice and expert and most of all very passionate for what they are doing. I would certainly go back!!

This has been the most fantastic experience I could have ever imagined buying a pair of glasses! From the incredibly thorough eye test where my vision was measured accurately for the first time in years, to the hands on care and customer support offered nothing will beat this experience. The glasses look amazing and I had a great time selecting frames with their patience and help in getting it right for me. They took time and cared about the details and finding me the best pair of frames. Based on this experience they have won me as a loyal customer and have recommended their shop to friends, family and anyone looking to have a positive experience while getting hold of a unique pair of frames! Thank you, I will be back ❤️

Cubitts - Borough

Staff couldn't be more helpful or helpful, great range and lovely shop.

Central London Osteopathy

325-327 Old St, London EC1V 9LE, UK – 020 7739 5666

I was treated by Susanna and she was fantastic. I had been suffering from a really debilitating IT band injury for months which kept me from running no more than 3 miles without feeling excruciating pain. Susanna designed a treatment programme that worked so effectively that I no longer have any pain and have been running 30+ mile weeks for almost a month now! She was really knowledgeable and friendly. I had heard a lot of conflicting advice from other physios about what to do and it was such a relief to be given the clarity and direction I needed. Would highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic....felt so loose and powerful immedietly after a few important clicks in my back. Well recommended from a National athlete. The best in the UK.

Central London Osteopathy & Sports Injury Clinic

325 Old St, Hoxton, London EC1V 9LE, UK – 020 7739 5666

The first and only osteo I trust to work on my lower back. Have been suffering from acute lower back pain for 20+ years and have tried everything short of surgery; I trust Torben and team to keep me out of the operating theatre for years to come!

Best place I've visited in London by far, felt better already after my first session, Torben is a genius!

Central London Osteopathy & Sports Injury Clinic

327 Old St, London EC1V 9LE, UK – 020 7739 5666

I have been advised to go and see Torben after 4 osteo failed to give me any explanation about a sharp pain in my shoulder that I knew was related to a stupid fall, 2 years ago. Some of them tried to convince me that I was perfectly fine, others told me to stop exercising and the pain would go away. It never did. As a last resort, I booked an appointment with Torben, just to see what he would say. It happened as it usually does: "take off your shirt, look here, look there, touch your toes." The difference being that Torben grabbed my wrist, and asked me to push forward. The crack in my shoulder has been amazingly noisy but I knew, instantly, that the trapped muscle/nerve/who-knows had been released. The pain went away instantly. On the same day, I was back in the gym, working out as I did before the fall. I went back a week later to finish off the session, and Torben released the remaining slight pinch in my shoulder in seconds. He probably didn't save my life but it's exactly how I felt when I left the clinic, in a complete high. And on top of that, he's a nice bloke! Would I recommend the clinic? 200%

Torben fixed my knee injury that I though couldn't be treated. Thanks to him I could continue my swiming. I will highly recommand this clinic if you want the best treatment.

Physiotherapy in EC3N

Central Health Physiotherapy

53-64 Chancery Ln, London WC2A 1QS, UK – 020 7404 6343

I go to Chancery Lane for massages, usually to help with back pain. They are brilliant. Everyone is friendly and efficient at the front desk, and Lizzie is absolutely wonderful: an excellent masseuse who always gives me useful, practical tips on exercises that I can do myself. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

I had a great experience with Jamie Lee after surgery when I tore ligaments in my foot. I was limping when I started seeing him a few months ago and now I'm back in the gym a few times a week and feeling healthier than before and am grateful for his steady, support and encouragement. Would definitely recommend. Chris

Covent Garden Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic

South Bldg Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA, UK – 020 7497 8974

Had a very good experience. The team was very quick to book me in and answer my questions. I was visited by Anthony who was very friendly and helpful, he really helped me to fix my issue, explaining what had happened by my back and the pain was gone in 24h! Very good price for excellent service.

I have been seeing Andrew Marshall for the past six weeks, after my recovery of a hip replacement had slowed. I must say that the service has been fantastic, and I have felt significant improvements in the functionality and comfort of my new hip. Andrew has demonstrated a remarkable expertise on the muscular and anatomical factors regarding my recovery, but he always explains them in a concise, practical fashion. He answers questions brilliantly and ensures that I am comfortable and confident with each exercise before leaving me to progress through them. On top of this, Andrew's colleagues are friendly and the facilities they operate in are top notch. I would recommend Covent Garden Physio to anyone with not only hip issues, but any other injuries or recovery periods that they may need help with.

CBR Clinics: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Sports Injuries Clinic

117 Waterloo Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8UL, UK – 020 7921 0538

CBR clinics is a great place for therapy. Being in Waterloo its a good location to reach although a bit tricky to find at first. Staff (Nicole) is super friendly and the treating rooms are very spacious with loads of equipment. Treatment never feels rushed, I feel good taken care of, no matter how silly my questions my be I always leave with a good feeling knowing whats going on and how to get better. I would highly recommend CBR clinics.

Like Magic! I had been suffering with broken sleep due to a very painful shoulder for almost 5 weeks. CBR was recommended to me and so I booked in a session with Bruno. All I can say is that after 3 sessions Bruno had worked his magic and totally fixed and removed the pain. It improved dramatically after each session as he worked to correct my bodies failings! His full body approach meant he was looking for the cause of the problem and his amazing skills achieved brilliant results - meaning I can now get a full nights sleeps again. Bruno is really warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful with his technical advice as well as working some kind of mystical magic to fix me! I would highly recommend booking a session with him. Leon

The lady who booked me in was helpful, and I got to see someone that day. The consultation was professional and helpful, and they set me up with regular meetings that week. All in all - a bit of a lifesaver. service - thanks

I have attended several sessions here at the Barnsbury Therapy Rooms. The location is great, it's easy to get to on foot or by public transport or car. The rooms are elegant and soothing, which is just what you want when you are attending a therapy session.

Very pleasant Pilates studio close to Liverpool Street Station. Charlotte is a very experienced therapist and I personally have not found anything to relax as deep as with reflexology. For me much better fit than traditional massage. Charlotte will also be able to explain you all the relevant stress points , but my main reason of going is the deep relaxation. I fall asleep deeply every time and sometimes even wake up asking myself where I am. Fit one hour into your stressful work week and will help to balance the stress much better.

Charlotte is an amazing person and practioner. I tried a lot of different therapies for my neck issues, but Charlotte was the only one who could help me. I absolutely recommend Charlotte.

Feet Pray Love Reflexology London

I had a very bad problem with my Achilles heal and underneath my foot, where I couldn't even walk. Once I have been there I realised that she does just cure the foot pain. But she actually diagnoses the full body and the systems with the foot. And she gives a detailed diagnosis. And all that I have to do is to enjoy the experience of the best foot massage (ever). I feel my head and my body is lighter and the pain is gone. Definitely going back and would recommend anyone.

My session with Rosanna truly opened my eyes to reflexology. To be honest I was fairly ignorant and skeptical about the subject before I met Rosanna but her warmth and expertise convinced me that I needed to book in a session with her. What a blessing! She made me feel completely relaxed from the moment I came in the room and I couldn’t believe the effects during and after the session. She truly put me back in touch with my body (I was astounded to find how much she could tell about me from my feet!) I have been sleeping better since my appointment and feel more relaxed and in tune emotionally and physically. I will definitely be booking another session!
