London City Dentists

10 Lloyd's Avenue, London, Tower Hill EC3N 3AX, UK – 020 7488 4445

Despite my best efforts, I have had an increasing number of problems with my teeth over the past few years. With my latest bout of pain, I decided to have a number of intensive sessions to salvage my teeth and restore a bit of self confidence. Wayne and the team at London City Dentists spent hours fastidiously rectifying a number of problems with my teeth. All the time I was there I felt comfortable (almost falling asleep in the chair at some points) - completely at odds to my experiences at other dentists. Wayne has really transformed my mouth, and I couldn't recommend the practice more!

London City Dentists saw me within hours of calling. Extremely helpful and efficient. I have a phobia about dentists and was very worried about going. Dr Wayne Holness and his nurse Laurie were truly wonderful. Dr Holness clearly explained the options available to me and treatment in detail with no pressure to proceed. Used state of the art equipment and constantly re-assured me and checked that I was ok. Extremely kind and gentle. I feel this is the only dentist I would return to - even if it means travelling half way round the world to do so as I live in Hong Kong!

IGDP Limited - Dentist Islington

66 Upper St, London N1 0NY, UK – 020 7226 0849

I highly recommend this dental practice. I've been going here for nearly 3 years for dentist, braces and hygienist. Everyone from the dentists, hygienist and receptionists are amazing. Stephan and Monika are who I have seen the most and are very very good. Other people great too. It's so hard to find truly great dentists!! Thank you

Went to see Dr S van Vuuren. What a lovely dentist! All staff were friendly, very clean and well equipped practise. You feel filled with confidence from the minute you walk in. I am quite nervous when it comes to teeth and I was at ease throughout. Definitely found a permanent dentist to go to in London. I will travel from far just to come back here.

Liberty Dentists

1, 65 Redchurch St, London E2 7DJ, UK – 020 3137 9965

Very, very professional. And ethical. They will do exactly what you need, no more no less. It has probably been one of the best experiences I had at a dentist. I went there with a gum problem and the whole journey was very caring towards their patients. No pain at all, friendly, patient and always thinking the way I was feeling while I was getting my treatment done. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.

Super nice and professional staff. Service good. Really comfortable place. Recommended.

Very professional

London Doctors Clinic

3.7, 344-354 Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross, London WC1X 8BP, UK – 020 8712 9378

Possibly the best experience I've ever had going to a doctor. Easy online booking, you show up for your 15 minute (or longer if you choose) appointment, get seen by a doctor right on schedule, and are done before you know it. The location is great too, you don't get more central than Kings Cross.

I have just arrived from Los Angeles for a year of work in London, and came down with a terrible cold and ear infection. I couldn't get in to the place downstairs and was desperate. A friend recommended London Doctors and I was able to book online an appointment for the next morning. Walked over, was met by the staff and doctor, who diagnosed all the above plus a torn ear drum. Was sold antibiotics in the office (so you don't have to go to a pharmacy) and was back in bed in less than an hour. This was superlative, affordable and most of all, calmed my panic about how and who to see. Terrific, won't forget it.

London Doctors Clinic

Room 101, 117 Waterloo Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8UL, UK – 020 8712 9378

I was seen very quickly and treated straight away. It's a great service

Barts Health Nhs Trust

Whitechapel, Turner St, Whitechapel, London E1 1BB, UK – 020 7377 7000

Horrible labour experience , almost gave birth in the lift/corridor because Receptionist sent me to a floor which was closed! But a part from that, I don't blame them as a whole, what place isn't over worked and under staffed. Everyone I dealt with did what they could , and were nice enough, especially during other appointments. Just the over all initial experience has left me hesitant to go back to give birth, and their communications between departments and getting in touch with them via telephone can be a pain. Other than that I can't really fault what I don't know.

My nan was rushed here to have a pacemaker fitted and I have to say they were professional and very caring,my nan is 100 years old and we had a really good team of nurses.. The level of care is outstanding well done!

Private Medical Clinics serving London

Fleet Street Clinic

29 Fleet St, London EC4Y 1AA, UK – 020 7353 5678

After receiving terrible customer service from a travel clinic in London, Fleet Street took us in on very short notice for our Travel Vaccinations. The team was friendly and professional, and our nurse Anna was a star! Absolutely lovely and provided excellent care. Somehow made me enjoy a doctors visit!

The staff were efficient, very professional and patient oriented. The nurse who performed my vaccination did so swiftly and skilfully, she was very positive, reassuring and very clear and concise about care advice for afterwards. Overall a very well run clinic with very skilled and caring medical professionals.

London Doctors Clinic - Private GP

Suite 127a, 9 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YF, UK – 020 8712 9378

Extremely friendly and reassuring. Very good value. saves the stress of making the phone call to your GP to be told you cant be seen for 10 days. will definitely recommend.

Use this service a lot. Very practical for city workers, good consultants and not too pricey. Highly recommend

City Walk-In Clinic

33-34 Bury St, London EC3A 5AR, UK – 020 7101 0355

Very good and efficient, impressive knowledge and excellent advice given. I can highly recommend this, especially if you're on a business trip or on holiday. NHS/GP's are difficult to find when you need them. But this clinic is very approachable, really cares about the patient and you can make an appointment on the same day or just walk-in.

Been going here since I moved to London 4 years ago. The doctors are top notch, very knowledgeable and very attentive and caring. It's great to come here if you don't like waiting 2 weeks or more for an appointment to see your NHS GP. I think £75 per consultation is fair as the service is truly outstanding. Most times you can get an appointment on the same day. Very convenient.

Travel Clinics

London Travel Clinic - London Bridge

100 Borough High St, London SE1, UK – 020 3432 1381

Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Refreshingly honest advice on the risk factors for travel with no attempts to upsell. On the expensive side, but I booked yesterday and was in and out in 15 minutes today, so a premium service. Would recommend.

Great service. Not cheap, but worth it for the convenience and speed

National Travel Clinics - London Waterloo Station

109 Suite # 212, 117 Waterloo Rd, Lambeth, London SE1 8UL, UK – 020 3151 9999

I went there for second dose of some vaccination courses. The clinic is very nice and it is just outside the Waterloo train station

Central Travel Clinic - Farringdon

55 St John St, Clerkenwell, London EC1M 4AN, UK – 020 8123 0521

Excellent service! I managed to get a last minute appointment at the Farringdon centre. The pharmacist was fantastic, explaining all the options and risks for the countries I am heading to. She carefully went through my chaotic vaccination history and travel itinerary to advise on which jabs I did and didn't need. Costs of vaccinations seem comparable to other places I had looked at but service was much better.

Conveniently located next to Farringdon station. Incredibly helpful and professional pharmacists - they talked me through all of the vaccinations I should consider for my upcoming trip and made me feel at ease when they were giving them (I don't love needles - who does!?). Will definitely go back if I need more in future.

I think many of the correspondents on here expect private services on the NHS. In the East End. Hmm. I can't fault the place except they go thru chaotic phases. Under funded and so much demand.

Bupa Health and Dental Centre – Chancery Lane

I personally have had fantastic help & support from the hospice

St. Joseph's Hospice

Mare St, London E8 4SA, UK – 020 8525 6000

My mum was recommended to St Josephs from her care team. They said it would be good for her to get some respite. I cried when taking my mum but the nurses met us at the door and could see how emotional I was and from that minute gave comfort and reassurance that she was in safe hands. After 5 days my mum was a different person. Back to herself. These people are angels in disguise. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I can not believe there still are so caring and warm people out there in this very sad time. This is the place to be in times of trouble. Thank you so much!!!

Barchester Healthcare Ltd

3rd Floor, The Aspect, 12 Finsbury Square, London EC2A 1AS, UK – 020 7382 2860

As a regular visitor to Thackeray House I have noticed the rise in stress levels with the Carers. Often only 1 carer is left on the floor to serve meals and answer calls - something has got to give. We want more Carers throughout the day. We understand the reduction of staff is due to a Head Office directive - it is unsafe for our relatives in this sort of environment. It won't be just the staff leaving but your fee paying residents.. it's awful to witness the lack of consideration given to the staff. Visitors should be interviewed to tell you the reality of your directives. Please deal with the staffing issues THEY cannot cope with work levels especially between 11am and 3pm.

great work experience. would recommend 8/8

Meridian Acupuncture & Herbs

1A Chapel Market, London N1 9PZ, UK – 020 7713 8228

Excellent place.Dr Wang has helped me with so many health issues including fertility problems, anxiety and low mood. I was very nervous with the accupuncture but i felt totally relaxed with Dr Wang. Also Julian, the massage therapist is amazing too. I suffer from back and shoulder pain, but the deep tissue massage with him totally relieved this pain on several occasions. I highly recommend this place with no doubt. Many thanks to you once again. 😊

I visited meridian clinic last week, Dr Wang treated me with irregular period and severe period pain, and i received brilliant results even after first treatment from his acupuncture along with his prescription of herbal powder, my period pain stopped immediately and the blood flow got better. I am feeling really grateful and i will come back for more treatments.I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Wang, his acupuncture was the best i had since i had tried so many doctors and i noticed the difference really quickly, that was amazing!

Diane Timewell Acupuncture

The Fleet Street Clinic, 29 Fleet St, London EC4Y 1AA, UK – 020 7353 5678

I am most grateful that my sciatica greatly improved after two sessions of acupuncture with Diane. When I arrived in London on 16th Nov 2017, I was walking with much pain from my sciatica. I had my first acupuncture on 17th Nov and my second on 20th Nov and the pain subsequently improved. I was able to fly to Goch Germany to visit my niece on 24th Nov. Diane's recommendation of the pyriformis muscle stretch exercise was also most helpful. It helped me to see that my pain was due to the pyriformis syndrome. I thank God for the healing of my sciatica through Diane's treatment and care. Dr. Patrick Kee

Di is a talented intuitive professional acupuncturist. My treatment was for a slipped disc injury I in my lower back that gave me chronic pain & limited my movement. The treatment was unlike any other I have had and left me pain free and feeling so much better than I had in months! I would highly recommend Di and I look forward to going back for more treatments.

Having experienced a range of unexplained symptoms including feeling faint, light-headed and fatigued since the beginning of summer I was diagnosed by an ENT specialist with Cervicogenic dizziness. A relative of mine has been successfully undergoing treatment for back issues with Claudio for several months, for this reason I decided to see if Claudio could help with my condition. What I found most interesting was Claudio’s in-depth knowledge of not only the musculoskeletal system but also nutrition, general health and wellbeing. My symptoms also led to a great deal of anxiety and shallow breathing. Through Claudio’s treatment over 5 sessions I now have a greater range of movement in my back and neck. I no longer feel anxious and am breathing properly but most excitedly I stopped feeling fatigued a few weeks ago with no ‘dizziness’ for the past couple of weeks. I now feel confident that my life will not be plagued by a condition that really made me question my own sanity. A massive thank you to Claudio for all of the help and advice!

Never used a chiropractor before so have no frame of reference but... Got to say, the session with Claudio totally sorted me out in one go! I couldn't believe it tbh. Was really stiff with lower back pain and one session and The pan is gone and mobility is back. Would highly recommend!

Broadgate Spine Centre - Chiropractor, Osteopath & Physiotherapist

65 London Wall, London EC2M 5TU, UK – 020 7638 4330

Excellent service, I’m being treated by Gary Weir. If you have any complaints with your back/posture or other aches and pains make an appointment to see him. His approach is straight forward and no nonsense, really good at explaining the problem and ways in which to improve the complaint you’re suffering with. I’d been having lower back pain and after seeing Gary he explained my problem and instructed me on a few techniques to help. After 2 return visits, listening to his advice, carrying out the exercises he’d shown me as well as a few life style changes he suggested I’m feeling so much better mentally and physically. I’d recommend Gary to anyone.

Gary Weir is a straight talking Kiwi who tells it like it is. He fixes your back but at the same time tells you what you are doing wrong, and what you must improve on going forward. He cuts through the BS and gets straight to the point. Heed his advice, you will be a healthier happier person 😉

Superb staff who are knowledgable and help me with simple adjustments to my glasses even though I never bought the frames from them (that's the kind of customer service that wins future business, and I have since been back to buy new frames). Staff also actually wear glasses themselves and explaining common problems with glasses to them isn't like speaking in another language to them.

Very good treatment from Charlotte in the City at convenient time. The sessions were definitely helpful for my lower back and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Physiotherapy in EC3N

Central Health Physiotherapy

53-64 Chancery Ln, London WC2A 1QS, UK – 020 7404 6343

I attended the Chancery Lane clinic for over four months for treatment on a knee injury and was looked after by Lucie. Lucie immediately made me feel welcome and very quickly diagnosed the cause of the underlying pain. Through a number of different strength building exercises, specifically designed by Lucie based on her experience, my knee gradually got better to the extent that I now feel no more pain when running. Lucie is a very personable individual and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a physiotherapist with a strong interest in patient care and someone who can make a difference.

I started 2017 tripping on pavements and falling down stairs as a previous neglected ski injury had left me with years of instability and regular periods of acute knee pain. I started sessions with Lucie to reverse the trend. After 10 months I have better stability, strength and confidence than I have ever had. I just returned from 3 weeks of hiking some of the most ambitious trails in Patagonia and the Atacama. No falls, no pain and looking forward to dancing in high heels on NYE. Thank you for my new legs Lucie!

Vitality Physiotherapy: Physio, Sports and Workplace Injuries Clinic

75 Roupell St, Lambeth, London SE1 8SS, UK – 020 7928 8333

Have received treatment from various physiotherapists following sporting injuries and a road traffic accident. There have been none like Vitality-Physio! Really friendly, from front desk to treatment room. I was shown empathy and care, and over the period of receiving treatment I recognised that none have helped me more or been so clear in explaining the body and it's need to recover in a way I understood. - Really very easy online booking system and a great text/email reminder so you don't have to worry about forgetting your appointment. - I damaged my MCL and was very worried it would affect me. I received accurate advice and the exact tools needed to get back to full athleticism. All is sorted and no more knee issues!! - Location is also great, very close to Waterloo station so convenient if not able to take hours out of your working day.

Janine has treated me for several different ailments, each time i felt cared for and was treated with respect. I was provided with exercises to compliment my treatment and details of what i should do for good after care following treatment. I would recommend Janine and her team and will always go back to her for future treatments.

Lucas Teague Psychotherapy

23 Austin Friars, London EC2N 2QP, UK – 07894 526987

I worked with Lucas for 8 months and He really helped me a lot working on my fears and my poor self-confidence. I started the counselling mostly for my problems with relationships and in the same time I started to date my actual boyfriend. I was very scared and full of questions and I really believe that Lucas and the counselling contributed to build my relationship when it was so fragile in its beginning. Me and my boyfriend We recently celebrated 1 year that we live together. I think Lucas is really professional, giving the right space and in the same time the humanity to feel confident to completely open yourself. He really loves his job.

I met with Lucas over a period of several months. I was going through probably the hardest time of my life, suffering from depression, extremely low self-esteem, self-harming and suicidal thoughts following a traumatic life event. I felt comfortable talking to Lucas; it was easy to open up and tell him my innermost thoughts without fear of judgement, in a safe, caring environment and quickly we developed a healthy relationship through which to tackle my issues. Through my darkest times of complete self-hatred where I only saw one way out, he was able to help me identify a grain of self-love that lay within, and nurture it and grow self-love and acceptance of myself and who I am. Very pleasant Pilates studio close to Liverpool Street Station. Charlotte is a very experienced therapist and I personally have not found anything to relax as deep as with reflexology. For me much better fit than traditional massage. Charlotte will also be able to explain you all the relevant stress points , but my main reason of going is the deep relaxation. I fall asleep deeply every time and sometimes even wake up asking myself where I am. Fit one hour into your stressful work week and will help to balance the stress much better.

Charlotte is an amazing person and practioner. I tried a lot of different therapies for my neck issues, but Charlotte was the only one who could help me. I absolutely recommend Charlotte.

I had a very bad problem with my Achilles heal and underneath my foot, where I couldn't even walk. Once I have been there I realised that she does just cure the foot pain. But she actually diagnoses the full body and the systems with the foot. And she gives a detailed diagnosis. And all that I have to do is to enjoy the experience of the best foot massage (ever). I feel my head and my body is lighter and the pain is gone. Definitely going back and would recommend anyone.

My session with Rosanna truly opened my eyes to reflexology. To be honest I was fairly ignorant and skeptical about the subject before I met Rosanna but her warmth and expertise convinced me that I needed to book in a session with her. What a blessing! She made me feel completely relaxed from the moment I came in the room and I couldn’t believe the effects during and after the session. She truly put me back in touch with my body (I was astounded to find how much she could tell about me from my feet!) I have been sleeping better since my appointment and feel more relaxed and in tune emotionally and physically. I will definitely be booking another session!
