NHS and Private Hospitals in EC3N and throughout London

The Royal London Hospital

Whitechapel Rd, Whitechapel, London E1 1BB, UK – 020 7377 7000

Been to this hospital for twice for my 1 month baby, seen under 3 hours which is excellent for A&E service treatment and compared to other hospitals I've been to. Staff are very caring and detailed and kept me in the loop at all times.

My mum just spent nearly 4 weeks in the hospital the doctors nurses and all the staff were fantastic the care and dedication is totally awesome thank you wards 3f 5e and 14f

Saint Bartholomew's Hospital

W Smithfield, London EC1A 7BE, UK – 020 3416 5000

As all hospitals it has its problems but im so grateful that was sent here when i was diagnosed with leukaemia thank you

I cannot praise the care and dedication of the staff at St Bartholomew's Hospital enough! I've been under their care for some time and recently had a heart procedure performed there and I was amazed at the wonderful care given to me and other patients, especially considering the very negative press you hear about the NHS lately! St Bartholomew's King George Centre is a newly built state of the art facility in the City of London, it doesn't have parking but is well served by public transport, the nearest Underground station is St. Paul's !

London Bridge Hospital

27 Tooley St, London SE1 2PR, UK – 020 7407 3100

A FANTASTIC hospital. I think it must be the best one I’ve ever been to. Had a minor procedure done, had a separate single occupancy room for the day. Very nice view, great a la Carter lunch, absolutely SUPERB nursing staff who were knowledgable and with great bedside manners. The procedure itself was expertly done! Highly recommended!

With over 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres, this is one of the UK's largest independent hospitals in UK..............

The entrance/location is challenging to find at first but the service and doctors are great.

Fleet Street Clinic

29 Fleet St, London EC4Y 1AA, UK – 020 7353 5678

I went to Simone for my dental work. I had all of my front composites redone and used home whitening. I couldn’t have asked for better care and service. My teeth look AMAZING. Simone is so thourough and takes the extra time to make everything look perfect which is extremely reassuring. Will definitely always go back now I have found a dentist that I can put my trust in.

I have been seeing Andrew Doody for my osteopathic care since 2012. He is always extremely helpful and gives me practical advice for managing my health. The team in the clinic are friendly and remember me by name. Thank you for providing outstanding healthcare with a personal touch!

London Doctors Clinic - Private GP

4.1, Alpha House, 100 Borough High St, London SE1 1LB, UK – 020 8712 9378

I visited London Bridge not long ago, as I was feeling extremely unwell in work. My GP had no same day appointments and suggested to call back the following morning, but I just could not leave it that long. I googled doctors local to me and this was the nearest to work. I saw the doctor within the 15 minute time slot, got my medication and felt much better by the end of the week. Amazing, convenient service, and great staff including the helpful receptionist who offered me water. Definitely a recommendation for friends/family within the busy City life. S. Jane

After 2 months of trying to get tests and good sense out of the NHS, and a lot of stress in the process, everything I needed was achieved in a single day by a lovely London Doctor. Such efficiency and such sound and caring advice was the most pleasant surprise to me. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely use them again if I need to.

Travel Clinics

London Travel Clinic - London Bridge

100 Borough High St, London SE1 1SZ, UK – 020 3432 1381

Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Refreshingly honest advice on the risk factors for travel with no attempts to upsell. On the expensive side, but I booked yesterday and was in and out in 15 minutes today, so a premium service. Would recommend.

Great service. Not cheap, but worth it for the convenience and speed

Nomad Travel Clinic & Travel Store

65 London Wall, London EC2M 5TU, UK – 01341 555061

Excellent and informed advice by a qualified, knowledgable nurse. Some products also purchasable for increased protection such as mosquito sprays and nets. A very good experience and definitely recommend for Travel vaccinations and health advice.

Nice staff, good advice :D

Central Travel Clinic - Farringdon

1-5 Clerkenwell Rd, London EC1M 5PA, UK – 020 8123 0521

An amazing service. Soon to be embarking on a round the world trip and the service I have received is as close to perfect as you can get. I went to the Farringdon clinic Saturday gone 03/03/18 and the healthcare professional at the clinic was professional, informative, helpful, honest (not trying to sell you vaccines for money) and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything. I couldn't recommend this place any more.

Excellent service! I managed to get a last minute appointment at the Farringdon centre. The pharmacist was fantastic, explaining all the options and risks for the countries I am heading to. She carefully went through my chaotic vaccination history and travel itinerary to advise on which jabs I did and didn't need. Costs of vaccinations seem comparable to other places I had looked at but service was much better.

Killick Street Health Centre

75 Killick St, Kings Cross, London N1 9RH, UK – 020 7833 9939

Have been with this surgery for 17yrs. Polly is a great Dr but have been seen by nearly every Dr here and all have been kind thoughtful and very professional. When I moved in 2011 I was so happy to find i didnt have to move to a new surgery. Jackie ward is lovely and makes you feel comfortable when taking blood. the reception staff great you with a smile and are friendly. Best GP surgery i have ever had it is so good that i got my parents to change to them. Thank you all xx

In recent months, with a major medical issue, all the staff, but particularly the reception staff (who have all been exceptional), Dr Sennett, Dr Wootton and my GP Dr Trevor Yellon have been extremely professional, friendly and caring to the nth degree, I am sincerely grateful to them all! I’ve been patient at KSHC for 17 years and can not speak highly enough about the quality of care I have always received from all the staff and doctors.

Blithehale Health Centre

22 Dunbridge St, London E2 6JA, UK – 020 7739 5497

Great surgery. I’m writing this to apologise for missing my appointment at 19:30 tonight. I’m late. Won’t make it. And your phone line to cancel is closed.

Made an appointment over the phone, quick and easily . Staff was friendly and polite.

Nuffield Health London City Health Clinic

25 Hosier Ln, London EC1A 9PH, UK – 020 7236 2832

Whilst the centre is quite small, and tucked-up on the third floor of a mixed-use commercial building, the interior is up to the usual high Nuffield Health Centre standard. The staff were very friendly and I felt the examination conducted was to a good standard. When I visited, the building conducted a fire-drill, meaning all persons had to leave the building. Whilst I was not aware this was going to happen, I was well looked after and accompanied safely out of the building.

This is a great scheme and I think more gyms should take it up.

Hospices for Children and Adults

St. Joseph's Hospice

Mare St, London E8 4SA, UK – 020 8525 6000

My mum was recommended to St Josephs from her care team. They said it would be good for her to get some respite. I cried when taking my mum but the nurses met us at the door and could see how emotional I was and from that minute gave comfort and reassurance that she was in safe hands. After 5 days my mum was a different person. Back to herself. These people are angels in disguise. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Very very special place, have known it as a professional visiting patients and as a friend visiting loved ones
