Cinemas around London

Genesis Cinema

93-95 Mile End Rd, London E1 4UJ, UK – 020 7780 2000

Amazing value for money (Mon-Wed). Fantastic location and cool spot. Cannot recommend enough

First time going to Genesis Cinema screen a bit small especially if your sitting right at the back. Seats are spacious looks better from outside than in. Service is very quick. Overall not bad would go there again

Angel Central, 36 Parkfield St, London N1 0PS, UK – 0345 308 4620

The Vue is a great cinema just a couple of minutes from Angel. The seats are comfortable and the screens are top quality. On my last visit the staff were the only issue, they quite clearly didn't want to be at work and they were slow and rude. Always massively off putting to me. My preference is nice private cinema (like The Screen on the Green further up the road) but the Vue is pretty great if you can put up with the staff.

Screens are small and emergency exists are super bright during the movie. Service is great though. Aim fo 30minutes of adverts. Seat close to the screen.

Electric Cinema Shoreditch

Aubin & Wills Store, 64-66 Redchurch St, London E2 7DP, UK – 020 3376 1777

Cool location. Really nice hipster atmosphere. This place mixes a coffe shop with a barber shop and a cinema. Live dj music and plenty of seats. Enjoy your brunch on a couch around a coffee table or sitting at a social table. Good choices of food, smoothies, milkshakes and various drinks. Friendly staff members.

What a romantic night. The chairs is awesome and so comfy. The hole place is just stunning and something different. The nachos is a must!!!

Theatres for London

Delfont Mackintosh Theatres

5 Aldwych, London WC2B 4LD, UK – 0844 482 5138

Always brilliant to deal with, I have exchanged tickets no problem more than once. Really nice company to deal with and great productions. Infinitely better than the awful Ticketmaster.

Great theatre, great stuff! Too bad my daughter and I could not fully enjoy the show (Mamma Mia) for some rude and abnoxious girls behinds us who talked the whole time. There were many announcements about cell phones and photos, perhaps something should be mentioned about staying quite as well, although those ignorant girls would have probably ignored it anyway.

Fortune Theatre Box Office

Russell St, London WC2B 5HH, UK – 0844 871 7626

Fast service.

Great show

Unicorn Theatre

147 Tooley St, London SE1 2HZ, UK – 020 7645 0560

A very nice theatre for small people. We went to see "Not now, Bernard" there. The play was truly great! Enjoyed it immensely.

My son has been on a number of workshops here. Terrific fun for children. It is amazing what they manage to perform in a relatively short time.
