I went to Genesis to see Black Panther and I loved the experience! It was a sunny day, perfect to enjoy a café on their outside terrace. Also the staff was very friendly. Tickets isn't extortionate prices especially during the week. Rooms are big but not too much and the sound is great. You can even grab a bit there after the movie if you get hungry. Very nice set up!
Went to watch the parent and baby screening of Black Panther with my wife and 5 month old. Was a great experience. Really nice cinema with helpful staff. However, the food area was closed so couldn't get popcorn or other nibbles. That was a bit of a let down. The a free drink was included with the ticket though, so that was nice. If there was good available, I would have given a 5.

3 stars normally but since the Monday deal 5. The tickets are great on a Monday at £5. Ever since they brought out this deal it is the only night of the week I go and you always manage great seats as it is obviously a slow night. I have gone to dozens of movies since this deal came out and was always annoyed before at the price but now really enjoy the place. The extreme price is not justified and all regular price seats are fine so no need to spring for the vip. Only one cinema is small (bottom of the stairs with a code?) but even it is enjoyable.
Located in a very good place with underground connected. Mon cheap deals make watching moving easy. Sometime too busy.

Located in the lowest level of the Barbican Centre, cinema 1 is the largest of the Barbican's cinemas. It shows a selection of new releases as well as showing a variety of old films. My favourite series are the silent films on Sunday afternoons, mostly British, American and European, with live music by great musicians such as Neil Brand. Personal dislike is that the standard has slipped lately as popcorn and crisps are now allowed during performances.
Cinema one is great, amazing room and not too busy even with really popular movies which is nice

Great theatre, great stuff! Too bad my daughter and I could not fully enjoy the show (Mamma Mia) for some rude and abnoxious girls behinds us who talked the whole time. There were many announcements about cell phones and photos, perhaps something should be mentioned about staying quite as well, although those ignorant girls would have probably ignored it anyway.

Had a fantastic time seeing 'Seesaw'. Lovely child friendly production which my two really loved. Nice little coffee shop in the foyer. Staff really helpful. Four stars only because it did work out quite expensive but worth it in my opinion.
Visited for a baby theatre production which was very well received by our 6 month old. A sweet and lovely show for young babies and toddlers alike. The staff were EXCELLENT providing a warm welcome and well considered overall experience including pushchair storage, time to chill out and great facilities which all contributed to happy and chilled out babies (and happy and chilled out parents!). Can't wait to visit again.
